Thermostats
Thermostats come in a variety of models, but through many years of experience with all brands of thermostats, Stan’s has identified the ones that are the most reliable and the most appropriate.
Tier I
Sometimes simple is best. Stan’s Tier I electronic thermostat is a manual, non-programmable thermostat that is easy to use. We install the Honeywell Pro 3000, which has a light-up display and can be fit for conventional single stage and heat pump systems. Check out the full product specifications here.
Tier II
For customers who prefer to have more features in their thermostat, or have two stage systems, Stan’s installs the Braeburn 5300, a universal auto changeover thermostat. If you want a simple two stage thermostat, the 5300 can be set up for non-programmable operation. But we also can set it up to be a programmable single or two stage thermostat. The 5300 even has an optional remote sensor that can operate 100% off the remote, 100% at the thermostat, or average the temperature between the remote and the thermostat. Check out the full product specifications here.
Tier III
Customers who prefer the aesthetics of a programmable thermostat with a touchscreen interface can choose this option. Stan’s installs the Honeywell VisionPro 8000, featuring an extra large digital display. This thermostat can be set up for single or two stage operation. Check out the full product specifications here.
Tier IV
Each manufacturer offers a high end communicating thermostat which is only compatible with their high end products. These thermostats are usually touchscreens and are web enabled, allowing you to control their operation from the internet and from some smartphones. These thermostats constantly monitor the system, and automatically alert you to any problems. Consult the manufacturer’s website for specific details.
